How can I set up a donation?

Is my donation tax deductible?

  • Yes, we are an IRS approved 501c3.

How close are you to raising the $3.2 million needed to buy this building?

  • At our last update, we were over 50% of the way there. The current closing date is mid-November, so any donations or pledges would be appreciated. We have a lot of confidence that this will happen!

When is open enrollment?

  • Open enrollment is TBA for the remainder of the 2020-21 school year. Please continue to watch the website for updated information. Upon approval, we will open with preschool-kindergarten (Ages 3-5).

What grade levels will be offered in the 2021-22 school year?

  • For the 2021-22 school year, we will offer Preschool, PreK, Kindergarten and Grades 1 & 2. The mission of Capstone Christian Academy is to continuously grow students to the day when they graduate and become World Changing Leaders from our Cactus Avenue campus. For any subsequent year we will add one or more grade levels as we continue to develop the land on Cactus Avenue.

Does my student(s) have to enroll immediately to be considered for Fall Enrollment?

  • No. The two terms will be enrolling at the same time. Our Spring enrollees will have priority for spots in the Fall, but their spot will only be secured when a deposit for the Fall is received.

What is the Enrollment Process?

  • As soon as we close on the building an application will be available online as well as in the school office. You will then be called in for an interview. Upon acceptance and payment of your deposit, your student will be scheduled for testing to ensure proper placement.

Do I need to put down a deposit to secure my spot?

  • Yes. There will be a $500, non-refundable, deposit that will hold your student(s) grade level spot once acceptance has been given by an Administrator.

Will the school be accredited?

  • Yes. We plan to seek accreditation with QRIS and ACSI.

What is the school’s plan for the buses?

  • Our buses will have many uses. We are most excited about a potential opportunity to use them to transport possibly at-risk students from neighborhoods that lack proper resources. The buses will also be utilized for educational field trips and other opportunities to support families.

What will be the hours for the school day?

  • Our current plan is for campus to be open from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The school hours will be 8 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.

  • Donors may contact our Founder to schedule a tour right away. bill@capstonechristian.com Parents: Once escrow closes and we have passed the various inspections, we can begin scheduling tours for you to come and meet us.

I see the word Christian in your school title; Do I have to be a Christian or attend a specific church to become a student?

  • No. Capstone Christian Academy is open to every student, every family. Our staff and faculty are all believers in Christ. The Bible will be taught every day at every grade level. We will not force students to become Christian, but rather lead them in a world view that exemplifies Excellence, Integrity, Respect, Accountability, Community Service, Courage, Relationships, Discernment and Faith.
